We’re building a great Foundation.....
- More than $182,000.00 has been awarded in grants and scholarships.
- One of our major fund items has been the Advanced Placement initiative, resulting in
vertical teams in the core areas (K-12). These teams have provided opportunities to form
curriculum alignment, common language and collaborative relationships among teachers
at all levels.
- Sixty percent of the class of 2007 took at least one Advanced Placement course during
their career at North Gwinnett High School.
- Parents of North Gwinnett graduates saved approximately $480,000.00 in college tuition
when their students completed AP coursework and testing as a high school student.
- Ninety-six percent of the class of 2005 made plans to attend college in the fall. Those
schools include:
- University of Georgia
- Georgia Tech
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Harvard
- Yale
- Princeton
- William and Mary
- Stanford
- Air Force Academy
- West Point
- Coast Guard Academy
