Our mission at the North Gwinnett Schools Foundation is simple: To enhance the quality of public education for students of the North Gwinnett cluster schools by providing funds which enrich and extend educational opportunities. We will do this by building a permanent endowment fund, providing financial support through grants and scholarships, positively impacting student success, and fostering a greater sense of community by building lasting relationships between the cluster schools, businesses, families, and organizations in the North Gwinnett community.

Our goal is to foster student success. We do this by providing enrichment tools and academic support to the outstanding educators in our six schools. Our teachers use vertical team teaching techniques and collaborative planning to accomplish high levels of learning and achievement in the classroom-supporting the individual capabilities and unique learning style of each student. By selecting items not supported through county and state funding, we are able to to support and encourage all students. Our focus is often on special education, fine arts and recreational learning techniques. The grants we fund foster this spirit, allowing "outside of the box" teaching methods which has helped make NG one of the most successful school districts in the state of Georgia.
Your support and contributions will enable us to continue to fund grants for our teachers and students.
The 2022 Big T'Do was a huge success. Thank you for supporting our schools.
Congratulations to the 2022 recipients of the Taylor Burdette Scholarship:
Sidney Lemoine and Hazel McQueen
Each year, the NGSF board of directors works with the Burdette Family to select recipients for this memorial scholarship. The Taylor Burdette Scholarship was established in loving memory of Taylor Reece Burdette who would have been a 2009 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. Taylor played football at North Gwinnett and loved to play golf. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and off-roading. Taylor dreamed of pursuing a career in architecture and his family and friends established this scholarship in his memory to assist a graduating North Gwinnett student(s) with similar aspirations. This scholarship is funded from the proceeds of past Taylor Reece Burdette Memorial Golf Tournaments, the "Big T 150".
Each year the NGSF Board of Directors chooses one community member who has demonstrated overwhelming support for our schools and students. The 2019 recipient Dave Burdette, has created a legacy for our students by finding the strength to inspire following the tragic loss of his son Taylor. Thank you, Dave, for being an avid supporter of the North Gwinnett Schools.
A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Let's bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change.
