it all started with a simple idea

Founders, Cecil and Gay Gober

Founded in 2001 by a group of like-minded community leaders, educators, businesses and parents, the North Gwinnett Schools Foundation, or NGSF, is the "educational booster club" for the six schools of the North Gwinnett cluster, part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools in the state of Georgia.
We don't just use catch phrases like "academic achievement," "student success," and "maximizing student potential," we fulfill grants in our schools allowing them to be a reality. We are working together to ensure the individual success of every student in our cluster.
Over the past last 22 years, this simple idea has become one of the driving forces behind academic excellence in the North Gwinnett schools. To date, the NGSF. has funded over $800,000 in teacher and school requested projects. The money is raised through an annually hosted fundraiser, which serves as our primary source of revenue, called the Big T’Do– a Gala Auction & Dinner and a major event in the North Gwinnett Community.
